How it works

Parking: Upon arrival, please park in our field car park and head over to the Silo Shop.

Getting Started: Our friendly team will provide you with scissors and a vessel of your choice.

Pick Your Own: Once you're ready, wander into the fields and pick your flowers or pumpkins (depending on the season!).

Finishing Up: When you're done, return to the Silo Shop, where we’ll carefully wrap your flowers or give your pumpkin a little shine (well, almost!). Then, simply pay for your freshly picked goodies and enjoy! 

Relax and unwind at The Honey Tap: sit back, treat yourself and take in the stunning view looking over Helmsley and the North York Moors National Park. You’ve earned it after all that flower picking!

What we provide

  • Flowers & Pumpkins - check! (Seasonal)

  • Scissors - check! (Including child-friendly ones for little hands)

  • Jars, Vases, & Buckets for picking - check! 

  • Water -  check! (for hand washing, for dogs and refreshing flowers for longer journeys)

We also have:

  • Toilets

  • Hand washing station

  • Delicious refreshments from The Honey Tap

Please note -  Jars, vases, and buckets are provided only for selecting your flowers. Once picked, your flowers will be wrapped in paper for you to take home. Our jars, vases, and buckets are available for purchase if you'd like to keep them.

How much does it cost?

At The Flower Belt, there’s no entry fee - we want you to freely wander the field and simply pay for the flowers or pumpkins you pick.

However, we kindly ask that you don’t bring your own food or picnics on-site. Instead, we invite you to support the wonderful local food and drink businesses we partner with by enjoying the delicious refreshments available at The Honey Tap café.

What to wear

Remember, we’re out in the countryside!

While we do our best to keep footpaths and car parks dry, you’ll still be walking through a field. Please dress appropriately with sturdy footwear and weather-ready clothing.

(Saturday 12th April - Monday 21st April).
Then 10am - 5pm on weekends only.
